📋 Description

• Report to the CM Operations Manager and work closely with Case Managers • Provide reporting, care coordination phone calls, general customer support, and administrative support • Provide accurate information to callers and triage telephone calls for clinical consultation and Case Managers • Enter claims data and maintain data integrity in the claims management system • Verify and update service-provider, adjuster, and attorney information in the Ahshay database • Triage new Case Management referrals using predetermined client criteria, without medical assessment • Transition applicable referrals to full Telephonic Case Management and assign designated Case Managers • Generate and distribute letters and reports in Ahshay according to client guidelines and workflow • Support clinical staff with scheduling, medical-record requests, faxing, mailing/emailing education materials, DME delivery coordination, and claims adjudication • Provide translation assistance to Case Managers as needed • Interact professionally with Case Managers, Adjusters, Employers, Physicians, and other medical professionals • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• AS/AA degree or two (2) years of college preferred • Experience in a medical office environment preferred • Medical terminology strongly preferred • Previous customer service experience in a fast-paced environment preferred • Professional demeanor with excellent written and oral communication skills • Strong organization skills • Ability to communicate with customers at all levels • Computer literacy and high comfort with MS Word, MS Excel, email, and internet • Basic clerical and administrative skills • Accuracy and efficiency • Punctuality and dependability • Ability to maintain focus and a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a team-oriented environment • Ability to meet deadlines in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment • Ability to multitask • Ability to understand and carry out written and oral instructions • Ability to sit and keyboard for the majority of an 8-hour day • Manual dexterity • Ability to speak on the telephone intermittently throughout the day • Fluency in reading and writing English • Ability to provide and confirm a safe, HIPAA-compliant home office • DSL, fiber, or cable home internet connection; 100 Mbps preferred or better
