📋 Description

• Deliver individual and group career planning curriculum supporting student development • Analyze student data and develop data-driven pathway retention programs • Provide an individual planning system guiding students toward post-secondary, workforce, professional skills, and career planning goals • Provide support strengthening the efforts of teachers, counselors, and parents • Support standardized and industry certification testing, parent education, and staff development • Collaborate with Academic Counselors on Career Learning training • Provide CTE Pathway and Program resources for Academic Counselors • Support students with Pathway selection • Provide responsive services for individuals or groups on pathway and CTE course selection • Establish and support a virtual “Go Center” inside the K12 Zone for pathway exploration, selection, and career readiness resources • Travel to support students, attend scheduled meetings, and participate in school activities, open houses, and orientations • Perform other related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Appropriate state School Guidance Counselor certification • Bachelor's degree in related field AND experience advising, teaching or school career counselor, OR equivalent combination of education and experience • Ability to work independently, typically 40+ hours per week • Ability to maintain a professional home office without distraction during the workday • Experience working in a virtual or hybrid educational environment • Knowledge of Texas CTE Programs, Pathways, and Career Clusters • Background in college and career advising and/or education policy • Strong written/verbal communication skills • Ability to pass required background and/or fingerprinting checks • Experience coordinating career-oriented clubs and extracurricular activities • Ability to travel at least once per month within and between assigned geographic areas • Ability to travel 10% of the time • Experience in a customer service environment • Microsoft Office proficiency and web proficiency
