📋 Description

• Manage cloud program operations, governance, cost optimization, and financial reporting across AWS, Azure, and other major cloud platforms • Work with Technology, Data, Product, Finance, and third-party vendor teams • Develop and maintain a holistic view of the cloud roadmap, operational health, and usage data • Perform financial analysis and reporting for business operations and cloud environments • Identify and implement cloud cost savings recommendations and best practices • Conduct capacity planning and cloud budget planning • Support business aspects of new workload migration • Integrate financial systems with cloud billing tools • Lead implementation of Cloud FinOps best practices, cost governance, budgeting, forecasting, AWS Marketplace purchases, and cost allocation • Develop cloud cost management frameworks with budgets, forecasts, investment cost analysis, and variance analysis • Design and maintain dashboards and reports showing cloud costs and usage trends • Set up and optimize AWS service plans and track cloud resource costs • Manage AWS Marketplace subscription renewals and terminations • Explain cloud cost concepts and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders • Provide regular updates to executive leadership

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a field related to Finance or Business Administration • Eight (8) years of direct experience with IT Finance and cloud experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and best practices (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.) • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis • Experience developing data analytics dashboards and reporting related to finance and operational processes • Experience with cloud cost management tools such as CloudZero, Cloudability, and CloudHealth • Experience with financial modeling and planning software • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Experience with business projects determining and driving process, technology, and organizational changes/impacts • Proven problem-solving and analytical skills • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web tools • Ability to travel 5% of the time • Ability to clear required background check • Must reside in one of the 50 states or Washington, D.C.
