📋 Description

• Work with the Principal and leadership team to cultivate a positive, supportive, structured, achievement-oriented, and joyful school culture • Coach a portfolio of teachers • Build positive relationships with students through structured social-emotional learning • Ensure behavioral expectations and school culture standards are met • Support teachers in maintaining consistent, high behavioral expectations • Advise teachers on relationships with students, classroom management, and school culture • Lead staff efforts to improve student attendance and engagement • Develop and maintain relationships with families as collaborators and accountability partners • Communicate regularly with families regarding student performance and academic achievement • Assist with parent and student concerns and issues • Participate in school-level and network-level leadership team meetings • Help articulate the school’s mission and vision • Use communication technologies to support a predominantly virtual/remote work environment • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws regarding special education and other categorical programs

🎯 Requirements

• Arizona Teaching License, Grades 6-12 • Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card / valid IVP fingerprint clearance card • Bachelor’s degree • Five (5) years of experience in education OR equivalent combination of education and related experience • Ability to travel 25% of the time • Ability to pass required background check • Ability to work independently, typically 40+ hours per week • Ability to maintain a professional home office without distraction during the workday • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Excellent problem-solving skills • Organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities • Customer service focus • Adaptability in a fast-paced work environment • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and web proficiency • Familiarity with the online learning experience • Experience working with the proposed age group • Experience supporting adults and children in learning and use of technology • Ability to learn new technology tools quickly • Candidates residing in Arizona are strongly preferred; surrounding states including D.C. may be considered, except Colorado
