📋 Description

• Serve as the go-to expert for the business area and deliver critical insights • Use data-driven decision making to support business operations • Partner with leadership on business strategy, planning, goal-setting and performance tracking • Scope and lead mission-critical projects and execute strategic initiatives • Wrangle large, complex datasets using SQL into actionable insights • Develop metrics and large-scale dashboards to track team health • Perform analyses, identify trends, conduct research and build models to inform leadership about opportunities, risks and strategic priorities • Create narratives and documents for senior Operations leadership and Stripe executives • Partner with stakeholders across Ops, Finance, Data Science, Product/Engineering and other globally distributed teams • Design, optimize and drive operational reviews and business rhythms • Guide planning, goal-setting and progress checks throughout the year • Apply an ROI lens to operational decisions • Support near-, medium- and long-term forecasting and planning processes for Financial Crimes

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of prior experience in analytical and strategic roles in management consulting, Operations, Support, Risk or Financial Services • Outstanding analytical ability, expert in SQL and understanding of data relationships • Outstanding communication, presentation skills and stakeholder management skills • Experience working in or with Operations, Support, Risk, Trust & Safety, Financial Crimes, or Financial Services • Expertise working cross-functionally and with globally distributed teams to drive business and operational goals using data • Ability to connect the big picture to minute details, toggling between them to set and operationalize strategy • Experience working in fast-paced environments (e.g. high-growth internet or software company, management consulting) [preferred] • Structured problem solving skills, combined with strong business acumen [preferred] • Experience with Tableau [preferred]
