📋 Description

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements • Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes • Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations • Analyze financial data and identify trends • Allocate costs to appropriate companies, general ledger accounts, and cost centers • Ensure accurate allocation of expenses to specific projects or departments • Reconcile payroll allocations to general ledger accounts

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • 2+ years of general ledger accounting experience • Foundational knowledge of GAAP and payroll regulations • Ability to investigate financial discrepancies, analyze GL variances, and resolve root-cause errors to ensure audit readiness • Proficiency with accounting software such as NetSuite or QuickBooks • Advanced Excel capabilities, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables • Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills • High attention to detail in a deadline-driven environment • Ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating effectively with team members
