📋 Description

• Oversee operations of Truss Design Services and Truss Implementations • Coordinate projects with Design Services and Component Review Services teams and internal and external customers • Document, schedule, manage, design, and communicate projects • Delegate work to and oversee the Associate Project Manager • Manage and track the Design Services process using project management software • Plan, track, and communicate project progress with team members and stakeholders • Maintain current plans and timelines and provide stakeholder progress reports • Maintain records and provide periodic reports on team performance and throughput • Review and refine project-management processes across Operations & Distribution Teams • Improve processes and tools for initiating, tracking, and completing projects • Assist sales with client needs assessments and customer-fit evaluations for software or services • Advise on software technical capabilities during demonstrations • Identify customer technical requirements and confirm software fit • Support Help Desk phone calls through direct lines or customer-support software when available • Assist with software implementation by establishing customer-success measures and advising on best practices

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and/or Architectural Technology, Civil Engineering Technology or Engineering Design/Drafting Diploma preferred • 5 years’ experience with design and engineering of prefabricated metal plate connected wood trusses and EWP • Understanding of wood-framed construction practices, details, related building codes, and design standards • Ability to apply basic algebra, geometry, and trigonometry • Ability to read and interpret construction documents, including architectural and structural drawings • Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, coworkers, and the general public • Ability to write reports and business correspondence • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions • Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and handle abstract and concrete variables • Strong attention to detail and organization • Ability to use Microsoft Office suite and Truss Design Software • Working knowledge of SQL databases • Basic understanding of computer networking • Hardware and software troubleshooting knowledge • Driving record complying with company policy and maintained throughout employment • Ability to travel up to 15% • Successful drug screen and criminal background check required for job offer
