📋 Description

• Lead Merchant Ecosystem analytics • Manage and develop a team of senior analysts • Partner directly with Merchant and company leaders • Own analytics self-service and move business teams from analyst-led reporting to governed, agent-enabled self-service • Set and report on analytics self-service adoption targets • Own the certified metric layer in Snowflake queried by Sigma and AI agents • Decide which metrics are certified and who approves changes • Implement conversational analytics with Data Engineering, Product, and AI/ML • Select analytics-agent use cases, establish guardrails, and drive adoption beyond pilots • Govern AI-assisted analysis through accuracy checks, review thresholds, escalation paths, and answer-quality measurement • Own the BNPL application funnel, including application starts, drop-off, decision outcomes, approval and take rates, funding, and loan performance • Identify funnel friction and collaborate with Product, Credit, and Engineering to remove it • Measure merchant acquisition, activation, and retention across verticals • Define merchant health and predictors of merchant stagnation • Own merchant KPI definitions and run A/B tests, incrementality analyses, and elasticity studies • Advise Merchant and company leadership • Perform hands-on analysis for approximately 30–40% of the role

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in analytics or data science, including managing and developing analysts • Bachelor's or master's degree in a quantitative field • Expert SQL • Working Python or R • Proven experience building self-service analytics, including certified metric definitions, a semantic or modeling layer, and trusted data quality practices • Hands-on experience putting LLM- or agent-based analytics into real business use • Ability to explain how accuracy was measured and failure cases handled • Strong funnel and conversion analytics in a high-volume consumer or transactional product • Solid experimentation skills • Track record of influencing senior leaders and working as a peer to Product, Engineering, and business teams • Preferred: Snowflake semantic views, Cortex Analyst, or Cortex Agents • Preferred: Sigma or another warehouse-native BI tool • BNPL, consumer lending, or payments experience helpful but not required • Experience in a two-sided or merchant-network business helpful • Comfortable working directly in data with hands-on analysis • Ability to work remotely in the United States
