📋 Description

• Conduct developmental assessments and provide occupational therapy services utilizing the Parent Coaching Model (Rush & Sheldon) • Follow each child's Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) and work with families to develop strategies supporting developmental goals • Use the family-centered parent coaching approach to build caregivers' confidence and skills and ensure progress is generalized • Provide services in children's natural environments, including family homes, daycare centers, and other community settings; virtual services are also available • Provide re-assessments and write progress reports, typically bi-annual • Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families in accordance with HIPAA and/or state/federal regulations

🎯 Requirements

• California Occupational Therapy license • Pediatric experience required • Early Intervention experience preferred • Home-based service delivery experience preferred • Strong clinical and interpersonal skills • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Bilingual in Spanish a plus • Ability to provide services in home, daycare, community, and virtual settings • Knowledge of HIPAA and/or applicable state/federal confidentiality regulations
