📋 Description

• Perform accounting processes and functions required to maintain the general ledger in compliance with US GAAP and company policies • Complete month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities for timely financial reporting and compliance • Prepare periodic journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations • Prepare ad hoc analyses of financial and other information for management, external auditors, service providers, and other stakeholders • Implement accounting processes for newly onboarded portfolios • Report to the Accounting Manager • Manage accounting operations for multiple asset-managed portfolios

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with an accounting concentration • 3+ years of financial accounting experience or auditing, preferably with a Big4 accounting firm • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to multi-task across multiple portfolios and prioritize critical deadlines • Knowledge and experience in US generally accepted accounting principles • Ability to implement accounting processes for newly onboarded portfolios based on historical financial information, operating agreements, purchase and sale agreements, and debt agreements • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel • CPA certification preferred • Experience in the renewable energy industry preferred • Familiarity with ASC 606 and ASC 805 preferred • Previous experience using Microsoft Dynamics, Xero, and/or Ramp preferred • Experience with accounting for multi-tiered legal structures and partnership accounting preferred • Overtime as required
