📋 Description

• Design, implement, and support resilient, high-availability, and cost-effective LAN, WAN, WLAN, and SD-WAN solutions • Analyze, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems • Participate in capacity planning, traffic analysis, and performance tuning; recommend upgrades and improvements • Plan, implement, and document network changes, upgrades, and maintenance while minimizing business impact • Monitor network health, proactively identify issues, and resolve them • Provide escalation-level troubleshooting for network and infrastructure issues • Configure and maintain firewalls, site-to-site and user-based VPNs, Zero Trust solutions, and security appliances • Enforce network security policies and support secure connectivity to business-critical systems • Assist with PCI compliance audits and remediation efforts • Collaborate with IT and security teams on incident response and vulnerability mitigation • Design, deploy, and support Voice, VoIP, and video conferencing solutions • Support phone systems, Microsoft Teams, and Slack from a network and connectivity perspective • Assist with virtual server environments, IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, QoS, and network segmentation • Collaborate with development, cloud, and systems support teams on servers, applications, and endpoints • Use scripting, automation, and AI-driven tools to improve network operations • Maintain network diagrams, documentation, standards, procedures, equipment inventory, licenses, subscriptions, and contracts • Engage with third-party vendors, carriers, and service providers • Improve network reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency • Support telecom rooms, server racks, UPS systems, and fiber/copper cabling infrastructure • Participate in occasional after-hours or on-call support

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field • 3+ years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting corporate network environments • Strong understanding of LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, VPN, and Zero Trust concepts • Hands-on routing, switching, and wireless technology experience, preferably Cisco and/or HPE Aruba • Experience with next-generation firewalls, remote access/VPN technologies, and network security best practices • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/S, SNMP, TLS, and OSPF or BGP • Experience using network monitoring and management tools • Familiarity with Active Directory, Azure Entra ID, and authentication services • Analytical and troubleshooting skills • Ability to work independently and collaboratively • Customer-focused attitude • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills • Currently authorized to work full-time in the U.S.; SupplyHouse.com will not sponsor work visas • Thorough background check required • Preferred: e-commerce or high-availability network experience; GCP; Microsoft 365 networking; endpoint security/EDR such as CrowdStrike; AI-driven network management and automation; Ethernet and fiber cabling; relevant Cisco, Fortinet, HPE Aruba, or Microsoft certifications
