📋 Description

• Evaluate revenue accounting implications of new products, pricing and packaging changes, partner/channel arrangements, strategic transactions, and go-to-market initiatives • Prepare technical accounting memos, position papers, and related documentation • Advise Sales, Deal Desk, Legal, FP&A, Pricing and Packaging, Product, and GTM leadership on revenue recognition implications • Engage early in business initiatives to embed revenue accounting considerations in decision-making • Serve as the subject matter expert on ASC 606 for Software/SaaS arrangements, including variable consideration, contract modifications, and material right assessments • Review contract write-ups for compliance with ASC 606 • Support accounting systems and process improvement initiatives related to scalability, company growth, automation, and AI-enabled workflows

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting • CA/CPA preferred • Big 4 background • At least 7+ years of experience in a similar role at a public, high-growth SaaS or technology company • Deep expertise in ASC 606 and technical revenue accounting • Experience with complex contract structures, variable consideration, and policy interpretation • Ability to influence stakeholders and simplify complex issues • Ability to make sound decisions in fast-moving environments • Ability to translate technical and operational issues into clear recommendations • Self-motivated, flexible, and deadline-oriented • Ability to independently drive projects to completion • Excellent time management skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
