• Define and champion Swyfft’s brand identity across all markets • Develop messaging frameworks communicating Swyfft’s expertise in CAT-exposed coastal regions and California markets • Differentiate the brand in competitive markets where trust, capacity, and responsiveness are key • Design and execute agent and broker recruitment campaigns to grow the distribution network • Build targeted outreach strategies for coastal property specialists, surplus lines producers, and independent agents • Develop co-marketing programs and collateral for distribution partners • Oversee digital marketing channels including website, email, SEO/SEM, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms • Create content, thought leadership articles, market updates, CAT event communications, and producer resources • Use data analytics to measure campaign performance and optimize media spend • Monitor and synthesize industry trends, regulatory developments, and competitive dynamics across active states • Translate complex underwriting and product information into marketing narratives • Provide market insight to the executive team for go-to-market strategy and state expansion decisions • Identify, plan, and maximize presence at industry events and conferences • Develop trade show strategies and post-event follow-up programs; measure ROI • Manage the marketing function, vendors, and a small internal team • Operate efficiently within budget constraints
• 7+ years of progressive marketing experience • Minimum of 3-5 years in property & casualty insurance • Demonstrated knowledge of the property and casualty insurance market, particularly in CAT-exposed territories (coastal wind, flood, wildfire) • Experience with both B2B marketing (agents, brokers, wholesale distribution channels) and B2C or policyholder-facing communications • Experience managing and utilizing CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot), marketing automation tools, and analytics dashboards • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Builder's mindset; experience launching initiatives and building structure in fast-moving environments • Keen eye for design and strong aesthetic instincts • Experience driving revenue growth, pipeline creation, and GWP through measurable marketing strategies • Experience leading high-impact, data-driven marketing initiatives with measurable ROI • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field required • Proficient with modern MarTech stacks, including Salesforce, HubSpot, CMS platforms, analytics and creative tools • Ability to communicate effectively using Slack and MS Teams; comfortable sharing screens and video chatting • Reliable high-speed internet connectivity • Designated quiet work from home space
