📋 Description

• Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop integrated warehouse automation solutions for customer facilities. • Design, engineer, and configure automation systems, including warehouse layouts using tools such as AutoCAD. • Analyze customer operational data, build models, and appropriately size automation systems to support business objectives. • Translate customer business requirements into hardware, software, and system-level recommendations that optimize warehouse performance. • Support proposal development activities, including system configuration, pricing inputs, business case analysis, and executive-level customer deliverables. • Present technical solutions to customers and senior stakeholders, addressing technical questions and influencing solution direction. • Travel to customer sites and Symbotic locations as needed to support customer engagements and proposal activities (up to 30% travel).

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Research, Science, Business, or a related discipline; Master’s degree or MBA preferred. • Minimum of 7 years of experience in solutions engineering, supply chain automation, automated material handling, or a related technical environment. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience with data modeling, financial analysis, and advanced Excel; experience with SQL, PowerPivot, and/or Access preferred. • Experience developing business cases, customer-facing proposals, and executive-level presentations or deliverables. • Demonstrated ability to lead or influence cross-functional teams and manage complex technical proposals or projects. • Experience with warehouse automation systems, material handling solutions, or robotic picking technologies preferred. • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, including customers and senior executives.
