📋 Description

• Lead multi-country projects involving negotiation and preparation of contracts, budgets, and related documents for industry-sponsored clinical trials • Produce and review site-specific contracts from country clinical trial agreement templates • Submit proposed CTAs and investigator budgets for site review • Negotiate budgets and contracts with sites, Site Contracts Service Centre, SSUL, and sponsors • Perform quality control, arrange CTA execution, archive documents, and capture metadata • Administer contract management processes involving protocol, informed consent, institution, investigator, vendor, consultant, and customer agreements • Generate amended contract and budget documents and streamline contract, proposal, and internal processes • Harmonize site contracts with sponsor master service agreement terms in collaboration with Site Contract Service Center and Legal • Validate departmental budget loads and backlog with SSU lead, Clinical Operations, and Finance • Identify operational risks and provide solutions; escalate deviations to leadership, Site Contract Service Center, or Legal • Support business development and represent site contracts/SSU at internal or customer meetings • Track contracting milestones and comply with forecasted country/site contracting timelines • Collaborate with legal, finance, and clinical operations departments on legal and budgetary issues • Maintain contract templates, budget templates, site-specific files, and databases • Serve as communication liaison regarding contract statuses and pending issues • Train and mentor less experienced staff and maintain training materials • Facilitate execution of contracts by company signatories • Monitor project financial aspects and contract hours/tasks, escalating discrepancies • Comply with SOPs and WIs, maintain training records, and ensure timesheet compliance

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience • Moderate contracts management experience, including experience in a contract research organization or pharmaceutical industry • Practical knowledge of a professional area, typically obtained through education combined with experience • Strong understanding of regulations, SOPs, and project requirements related to site identification • Excellent negotiation and communication skills • Ability to manage and review site performance metrics • Experience managing site confidentiality agreements (CDAs) and site information forms (SIFs) • 5+ years of site contracts and study start-up (SSU) experience within a global CRO or pharmaceutical sponsor environment preferred • Experience owning multi-country studies preferred • Expertise negotiating site CTAs and investigator budgets preferred • Experience drafting and managing site-specific CTAs from country or global templates preferred • Experience managing contract amendments and protocol-driven changes preferred • Experience with complex contract, budget, or process escalations preferred • Experience with SSU tracking systems and contract repositories preferred • Experience training and mentoring junior staff preferred • Experience supporting business development activities preferred • Relevant certifications in clinical research or site management preferred • Strong organizational and time management skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Proficiency in relevant software and tools for site management • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
