📋 Description

• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable data analytics solutions using Microsoft technologies • Design, implement, and optimize end-to-end data analytics architectures • Develop data integration, data warehousing, data modeling, data visualization, and reporting solutions • Implement Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Lake integration pipelines to extract, transform, and load data • Create interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Microsoft Power BI • Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize data processing, query performance, and system efficiency • Partner with the Security practice to ensure data security, privacy, and regulatory compliance • Provide technical leadership and guidance to data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders • Participate in new opportunity pursuits • Keep current with Microsoft and other data analytics technologies and industry trends • Execute across all stages of the data software development lifecycle

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Information Systems or related field desired or applicably aligned professional experience • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert and Power BI Data Analyst Associate are a plus • Eight or more years of professional experience working as a Data Analytics Architect or a Senior Data Integration Developer (Data Engineer) with a primary focus on architecting Microsoft technologies • At minimum one year of full-lifecycle greenfield architectural experience • Strong verbal and written communication and collaboration skills • Innovative, curious, and adaptable to a changing technological landscape • Professional presentation in organizational and client interactions • Strong customer service focus and ability to resolve communication or technical issues • Ability to present and participate in requirements elicitation and brainstorming sessions • Experience facilitating and eliciting information to design needs-focused solutions • Demonstrated business acumen aligned with business needs • Proficiency in data modeling, data integration, and data visualization using Microsoft technologies • Ability to design scalable and efficient data analytics architectures • Understanding of data warehousing, data governance, and data quality principles • Knowledge of data security and compliance considerations • Competency in Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Power BI, SQL Server, and Azure data platform architecture • Understanding of dimensional and normalized data modeling, metadata management, and data governance • Experience conducting data architecture reviews and assessments • Proficiency in ETL/ELT development, data pipeline orchestration, and performance tuning • Familiarity with AI/ML integration using Azure Machine Learning, Python, or R is beneficial • Experience with source control management tools including Azure DevOps, Git, JIRA, and SVN • Exposure to Scrum, Agile, or KANBAN methodologies • Willingness to travel four to six times per year, with no more than 24 days away from home annually • Must reside in Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, North Carolina, Arkansas, Arizona, or South Dakota at the time of application • Required to travel to the corporate location for new hire orientation and onboarding
