Tandem focuses on peer-to-peer language learning and cultural exchange via a consumer-facing app.

📋 Description

• Review member reports in line with Tandem's Community Guidelines • Review new member applications • Respond promptly to members' questions and inquiries • Collaborate with the broader community team to resolve reported issues • Cultivate a safe and vibrant space for meaningful language exchange • Ensure interactions remain respectful, engaging, and aligned with Community Guidelines • Report to the Community Manager and work closely with other community moderators

🎯 Requirements

• Proficient in English • Strong command of other languages is a plus • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Proactive problem solver with a keen interest in mobile apps and new software tools • Familiarity with content moderation and understanding of challenges associated with sensitive topics • Prior experience in customer support or content moderation is a plus • Own a laptop or desktop computer with a stable internet connection • Must be able to send an invoice each month • Comfortable working between 07:00 and 13:00 (UTC +8), with adjustable working hours • May be expected to work on weekends
