📋 Description

• Lead a deep dive into historical loan data across Retail and Non-Retail portfolios • Analyze and reconcile multi-year data • Identify data quality issues and historical inconsistencies • Investigate changes in data and business definitions over time • Prepare well-documented datasets for advanced analysis and benchmarking • Lead interpretation of complex business issues and generate multifaceted insights • Identify opportunities to drive business growth or address business and enterprise needs • Present insights and recommended business actions to stakeholders and business leaders • Serve as the primary interface between business teams and analytics/reporting functions • Provide domain expertise and context for analytics discovery and recommendations • Escalate data and process problems and recommend resolutions • Provide day-to-day analytics support and delivery • Build business requirements and facilitate project execution • Collaborate with partners to deliver fact-based analytical advice aligned with strategy • Identify potential use cases and value drivers for business growth • Gather analytics demand from business teams and work with the analytics hub to fulfill it • Explain anomalies and outliers identified during analysis • Transition business requirements into analytics requirements • Train business users to integrate analytics into decisions • Execute data requests accurately and promptly • Investigate data and analytics issues • Lead or facilitate remediation plans for performance, risk, and governance issues • Manage relationships across business lines, corporate and control functions • Monitor emerging issues, trends, and regulatory requirements • Maintain risk management and control processes • Provide thought leadership and knowledge transfer • Mentor others and contribute to team development

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience • Strong knowledge of SQL and data analysis/research • Retail and Non-Retail loan data or similar experience • Experience with historical loan data, source systems, data definitions, and credit processes • Ability to analyze and reconcile multi-year data • Ability to identify data quality issues and historical inconsistencies • Ability to understand changes in data and business definitions over time • Ability to prepare well-documented datasets for advanced analysis and benchmarking • Ability to translate complex historical data into clear, actionable insights • Undergraduate degree or advanced technical degree preferred, such as mathematics, physics, engineering, finance, or computer science • Graduate degree preferred with progressive project work experience, or higher-degree education and research tenure can be counted • Ability to work with quantitative and qualitative methodologies • Ability to create visualizations and presentations • Ability to translate business requirements into analytics and reporting requirements • Ability to comply with internal and external requirements, financial controls, segregation of duties, transaction approvals, and physical control of assets
