📋 Description

• Provide technical leadership across the Analytics function and explain complex data analysis to clients • Develop, maintain, and enhance AML/CTF models and AI solutions • Support regulatory requirements, internal policies, global AML/CTF strategies, emerging-risk initiatives, and industry best practices • Work across customer rating, sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, model performance monitoring, analytics, and reporting • Work independently on analysis, design, and support of technical data management solutions • Plan and manage multiple complex projects with enterprise-wide impact • Work with business owners to identify opportunities and serve as a data science ambassador • Extract and prepare data, apply statistics and advanced analytics, and generate insights from big data • Visualize insights and communicate results to decision-makers and stakeholders • Collaborate with data analysts, business analysts, software engineers, data engineers, and application developers on scalable data science solutions • Provide analytical thought leadership and stay current on data mining and data science developments • Educate the organization on hypothesis testing and statistical validation • Participate in cross-functional and enterprise initiatives as a subject matter expert • Identify risks, provide guidance, and implement remediation plans for performance, risk, and governance issues • Monitor service, productivity, efficiency, and continuous process improvements • Manage relationships across business lines and control functions • Monitor emerging issues, trends, and regulatory requirements • Mentor others, share knowledge, and contribute to team development

🎯 Requirements

• Undergraduate degree or advanced technical degree preferred, such as mathematics, physics, engineering, finance, or computer science • Graduate degree preferred, with progressive project work experience or 5+ years of relevant experience; higher degree education and research tenure can be counted • Strong foundation in statistics, regression, classification, machine learning models, and anomaly detection techniques • Strong numerical intuition and ability to evaluate model outputs, data quality, and performance trade-offs • Proficiency with Python and SQL is a must • Experience in Financial Crimes / Compliance Risk Analytics is a plus • Hands-on experience with GenAI applications is a strong plus, including fine-tuning or prompting LLMs • Ability to build analytical solutions using LLM APIs and use GenAI applications to develop data labeling solutions • Ability to work with business context and data infrastructure and translate business problems into viable data science solutions
