📋 Description

• Develop components of solutions focused on analytics, support, testing and proof of concepts • Develop and program applications and systems to solve business problems • Research, install, maintain, configure, administer and provision systems and applications as needed • Support the Encompass loan origination platform and Blend point-of-sale platform • Design and deliver Encompass solutions, including plugins, workflow rules, Encompass Web input forms and task-based processing • Develop new solutions for engineering programs and projects • Develop new features and perform unit/component testing • Support business inquiries and activities through enhancements and break/fix implementations • Conduct peer code reviews • Work with technology partners to ensure configurations and custom components meet application requirements and performance goals • Analyze technical requirements and recommend pragmatic engineering solutions • Collaborate with stakeholders and technology partners to meet technical, performance, time-to-market and innovation goals • Monitor product lifecycles and undertake redevelopment when required • Document and verify system components, applications, infrastructure, security, integration, operability and architecture designs • Participate in quality management reviews of designs, prototypes and requirements work products • Create and maintain quality code and provide code maintenance and support during testing and post-production deployment • Provide technical expertise during incident management, analyze incident reports and outages, assess impact and facilitate communication through resolution • Identify and recommend development/testing solutions and tools • Help maintain processes for issue prevention and participate in problem determination and incident resolution • Adhere to software engineering frameworks and methodologies • Conduct functional or enterprise-level analysis and make recommendations • Identify cost-reduction opportunities and deliver strategic solutions • Conduct code reviews, Operational Readiness Reviews and solution design sign-offs • Monitor service, productivity and efficiency and implement process/performance improvements • Lead or facilitate remediation plans for performance, risk and governance issues • Manage relationships across business lines and control functions • Identify, manage and escalate risks • Monitor emerging issues, trends and regulatory requirements • Participate in team activities, knowledge transfer, mentoring, cross-training and continuous improvement • Keep stakeholders informed about project status and day-to-day activities

🎯 Requirements

• Undergraduate degree, Postgraduate degree or Technical Certificate • Strong academic background, such as computer science or engineering • 3–5 years of relevant experience • Strong communication skills preferred • Encompass configuration experience preferred • Business analysis experience preferred • Underwriting experience preferred • Deep data reporting experience preferred • Software engineering experience preferred • Website design experience preferred • Encompass web experience preferred • Must be located within TD footprint: CT, DE, FL, ME, MD, MA, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI, SC, VT, VA, DC • Advanced knowledge of engineering frameworks, technology, tools, processes and procedures • Advanced knowledge of technology, tools, programming languages, processes and procedures • Knowledge of Agile development practices • Ability to develop program specifications, adapt, integrate, code, test and debug programs • Ability to perform complex technical tasks independently • Ability to analyze technical requirements and recommend engineering solutions • Ability to document and verify system components, applications, infrastructure, security, integrations, operability and architecture designs • Ability to conduct code reviews and quality management reviews • Ability to provide technical expertise during incident management • Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders • Ability to perform sedentary work and operate standard office equipment continuously • Ability to perform occasional domestic travel
