📋 Description

• Manage corps member retention procedures, including documenting and processing exits and leaves • Support summer teaching practicum operations and logistics for assigned regions • Provide logistical support and communications for scheduling meetings, check-ins, and events • Support data management and streamline incoming corps member processes • Coordinate matriculation teams and regional staff to create consistent incoming corps member experiences • Support corps member smoothing windows and ICM confirmation preparation • Plan, communicate, track, and manage AmeriCorps action items, including enrollment, background checks, evaluations, exits, paperwork, achievement data, and status changes • Train Teach For America staff on AmeriCorps requirements and responsibilities • Maintain AmeriCorps member files and respond to state or federal audits • Plan and implement virtual and in-person days of service • Manage systems to ensure principals are trained on AmeriCorps requirements • Create, edit, pilot, and provide feedback on standardized work products • Track state-specific AmeriCorps grant requirements where applicable • Build relationships with commission staff and attend commission meetings and trainings • Provide data and feedback to grant writers for applications and progress reports • Support other hubs during peak AmeriCorps periods • Provide general administrative and all-hands support as needed

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of work experience • Willingness to work some nights and occasional weekends • Ability to travel 2–8 times per year, depending on AmeriCorps commission requirements • Deep investment in Teach For America’s core values and mission • Strong project planning and execution skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Strong customer-centered service ethic • Ability to partner with multiple teams and manage national and regional priorities • Ability to handle a high volume of workstreams and tasks with prioritization, organization, and attention to detail • Ability to thrive in goal-oriented, fast-paced, and entrepreneurial environments • Ability to develop and cultivate effective relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders • Preferred: 5+ years of work experience • Preferred: Experience managing regional/national AmeriCorps grants or similar grant management experience • Preferred: Track record of achieving results while managing multiple large-scale projects simultaneously • Preferred: Experience working at Teach For America
