📋 Description

• Drive QA strategy for the Social areas of an unannounced competitive PvP game from production to launch • Develop understanding of the product from player value and technical systems perspectives • Build, maintain, and execute cross-disciplinary QA strategy for Social features • Identify process and toolchain problems and resolve quality issues early • Partner with engineering to develop tooling and automation strategies that improve product stability • Train and supervise external QA staff • Work with the QA Director to define and maintain team-wide quality assurance standards and practices • Collaborate with Design, Production, Engineering, and Art teams to understand complex Social systems • Design QA plans and strategies to ensure the holistic game experience

🎯 Requirements

• Proficiency with technical testing for systems with limited player-facing experiences, including matchmaking, crossplay/cross save, and account entitlements • Ability to define QA strategies incorporating business, project, and systems needs • Ability to understand game systems and design efficient test coverage • Ability to negotiate, ratify, and drive plans with cross-disciplinary leads • Understanding of risks, constraints, business needs, and player value, with ability to adjust plans accordingly • Experience directing external Test or QA staff • Experience with social game experiences such as matchmaking, friends, clans, chat systems, and trust and safety features • Outstanding collaboration and communication • Degree in Computer Science, Game Design, or related fields is listed as nice-to-have only • Background check required at offer stage
