📋 Description

• Conduct stakeholder interviews, user requirements analysis, task analysis, conceptual modeling, information architecture, interaction design, and usability testing • Design and specify user interfaces and information architecture • Lead participatory and iterative design activities, including observational studies, customer interviews, usability testing, and requirements discovery • Produce user requirements specifications, experience goals, personas, storyboards, scenarios, flowcharts, design prototypes, and design specifications • Communicate research findings, conceptual ideas, detailed design, design rationale, and goals verbally and visually • Plan and facilitate collaborative critiques and analysis and synthesis working sessions • Collaborate with visual designers and development teams to meet customer goals and deliver design specifications • Design and develop internet/web pages and applications • Develop proof-of-concepts and prototypes of easy-to-navigate user interfaces • Research user needs and potential system enhancements • Code, test, debug, document, and implement web applications using a variety of platforms • Plan, recruit, and facilitate usability testing • Analyze and synthesize usability testing results and provide system change recommendations • Create usability testing plans, testing scripts, and usability testing reports

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field • Minimum of three (3) years of combined experience in Interaction design, user research, and usability testing • US Citizen • Ability to successfully complete a government issued background investigation • Ability to obtain a Public Trust • Prior Public Trust or Security Clearance preferred • Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities • Ability to turn ambiguous requirements into actionable plans
