📋 Description

• Review and underwrite vehicle loan applications submitted through dealership networks on behalf of credit union partners • Review supporting documentation • Analyze credit bureau reports and borrower credit history • Evaluate DTI, PTI, LTV, income documentation, and overall borrower risk • Make loan approval, decline, and stipulation decisions within lending guidelines • Document underwriting decisions and rationale within loan systems • Communicate directly with dealerships and credit union partners • Follow up to obtain missing documentation and loan conditions • Manage a high-volume queue while meeting production and turnaround goals • Support funding and loan completion activities • Complete Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM Mountain Time training during the first two weeks • Work the regular Thursday-Monday, 12:00 PM-9:00 PM Mountain Time schedule after training, with Tuesday and Wednesday off

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of indirect auto underwriting experience • Experience independently approving, declining, or stipulating auto loan applications • Strong experience evaluating credit reports, DTI, PTI, LTV, and income verification documentation • Experience using at least one of: MeridianLink, Keystone Correlation, CUDL, ArcOS, Ideal, or L360 • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work independently in a remote setting • Comfortable receiving and implementing feedback • Must reside in Colorado, Wyoming, Illinois, Texas, Arizona, Florida, Washington, Georgia, Virginia, or Hawaii • Reliable high-speed internet • Private, distraction-free workspace • Ability to work independently from home • Flexibility and weekend availability, including Sundays • Comfortable working evenings and weekends • Credit union lending experience preferred • Experience working directly with dealerships preferred • Experience using multiple loan origination systems preferred • Previous remote underwriting experience preferred • Experience mentoring junior underwriters or analysts preferred
