📋 Description

• Review work product against defined quality standards, rubrics, and guidelines • Identify errors, inconsistencies, and gaps, and document them clearly • Provide structured, actionable feedback to contributors and stakeholders • Track quality metrics and surface recurring issues or trends • Help refine and improve quality processes, checklists, and evaluation criteria • Collaborate asynchronously with a distributed team across time zones • Work on projects focused on training and enhancing AI systems

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in quality assurance, quality control, or a similar review-focused role • Strong attention to detail and a sharp eye for errors others miss • Excellent written communication and the ability to give clear, constructive feedback • Comfort with ambiguity and evolving standards in a fast-moving environment • Reliable internet connection and a quiet, focused workspace • Familiarity with data annotation, content review, or evaluation workflows (nice to have) • Experience working with distributed or remote teams (nice to have) • Background in a domain relevant to our work, such as technical, editorial, or analytical (nice to have) • Must be able to work as an independent contractor • Mercor is unable to support H1-B or STEM OPT candidates
