• Support aspects of Expert Medical Services for Teladoc Health members • Support the care team nurse and provider on cases • Research and verify physician referral information • Collaborate with providers to prioritize case management • Manage, organize, and update case information in the case management system • Ensure clear, accurate, and thorough case documentation • Collect, process, and manage relevant medical records • Provide regular case updates to physicians, nurses, members, and leaders • Monitor personal and group email accounts and faxes, taking timely action • Perform quality checks and investigations on assigned cases • Support member satisfaction through timely, accurate, high-quality reports and communications • Prevent and mitigate case delays • Research treatment and procedural availability and identify appropriate physicians for referrals • Schedule member appointments with internal clinical staff • Prepare and deliver member-facing reports and communications • Participate in meetings and special projects as needed
• High school diploma or equivalent • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a professional work environment • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines • Demonstrated critical thinking ability • Clear, professional verbal and written communication • Ability to work independently and collaboratively • Strong customer service focus • Experience in a clinical office or hospital is a plus, not required • Post-secondary diploma/degree in a health or business-related field is preferred, not required
