📋 Description

• Provide nursing care for an assigned group of patients • Match patients’ needs with the nurse’s competencies • Complete established competencies within the designated introductory period • Perform other related duties as assigned • Work under minimal supervision

🎯 Requirements

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing • Possession of current Texas State License for Registered Nurse • Active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire • AHA ACLS within 60 days of hire or transfer into an adult critical care, telemetry, or interim critical care unit • AHA PALS within 60 days of hire or transfer into a pediatric ICU • AHA NRP within 60 days of hire or transfer into a NICU • S.T.A.B.L.E. certification for NICU Level 2 Nursery, or obtain within 6 months of hire or transfer • No minimum experience required • Bachelor's Degree preferred • Two years of acute care experience preferred • Previous clinical nursing experience in med/surg, telemetry, or ICU preferred
