📋 Description

• Assist the internal team and healthcare providers in disputes with insurance carriers and managed care organizations. • Contact insurance companies to check claim and appeal submission status through telephone, internet, fax, and payer portals. • Process incoming and outgoing mail, scanning, document consolidation, and indexing. • Gather medical records. • Organize and maintain paper or electronic filing systems. • Maintain working knowledge of internal policies, client systems, and credentials. • Assist in special projects and perform additional assigned duties.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent. • Associate or bachelor’s degree (preferred). • Prior experience in Revenue Cycle or insurance follow-up, claims processing, or medical billing (preferred). • Remote Work Experience. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize within a dynamic environment. • Ability to adhere to all HIPAA and company policies and regulations.
