• Serve as LMI’s senior leader and accountable portfolio owner for NSW programs, projects, personnel, and growth activities • Retain direct responsibility for active NSW program execution against schedule, technical, contractual, security, and quality requirements • Own customer satisfaction and mission outcomes across the NSW portfolio • Build and sustain trusted relationships with NSW headquarters, operational units, requirements organizations, program offices, acquisition personnel, test organizations, technical leaders, and mission partners • Develop and execute an integrated NSW portfolio strategy and annual operating plan • Translate NSW mission needs into roadmaps spanning robotics, autonomous and uncrewed systems, command and control, mission software, data, AI, experimentation, training, fielding, and sustainment • Lead and synchronize distributed program, technical, site, engineering, operations, product, subcontractor, and corporate teams • Establish portfolio governance, decision rights, operating rhythms, metrics, and accountability mechanisms • Own workforce planning, organizational design, staffing, recruiting, onboarding, performance management, development, succession, retention, and culture • Mentor and develop emerging leaders • Oversee technical and operational integration of LMI, government, commercial, and partner capabilities • Plan and oversee demonstrations, experiments, exercises, testing, fielding, training, and operational assessments • Provide decision-ready reporting to NSW and LMI leadership • Identify customer needs and lead account growth, capture, solution development, proposals, staffing, and teaming • Develop strategic relationships with technology companies, manufacturers, research organizations, and mission partners • Coordinate LMI product, engineering, autonomy, software, data, operations, contracts, talent, security, and growth functions • Ensure compliance with contract requirements, security policies, cybersecurity standards, export controls, property accountability, safety requirements, and LMI governance • Represent LMI at senior customer engagements, industry events, demonstrations, and relevant forums
• An active Top-Secret security clearance • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, cybersecurity, business, program management, operations, or a related field; four additional years of directly relevant experience may be substituted for the degree requirement • 15+ years of progressively responsible experience leading complex Department of Defense, national security, technology, or mission-support programs • 10+ years of direct experience supporting Special Operations Forces • Experience leading a multi-program or multi-project portfolio with accountability for delivery, customer relationships, personnel, risk, and growth • Experience leading geographically distributed, cross-functional teams • Recent experience supporting NSW organizations at Coronado, California; Little Creek, Virginia; or other NSW operating locations • Prior military service in Naval Special Warfare, Joint Special Operations Command, a Special Operations communications or mission-systems organization, or another directly relevant SOF assignment • Experience integrating robotics, autonomous systems, uncrewed systems, tactical communications, command and control, ISR, electronic warfare, data platforms, or mission software • Experience translating mission requirements into integrated technical and operational solutions • Working knowledge of robotics and autonomous systems, uncrewed systems, mission command and control, communications, mission software, data integration, AI, test and evaluation, fielding, training, or sustainment • Strong program and portfolio management skills, including schedule, performance, staffing, subcontractor oversight, risk management, quality assurance, and executive reporting • Experience supporting federal business development, capture, proposal development, solutioning, pricing, teaming, or account growth • Knowledge of DoD acquisition, contracting, security, cybersecurity, requirements, test, and operational approval processes • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and executive briefing skills • Ability to travel regularly to NSW commands, supported units, test locations, demonstrations, and other mission sites
