📋 Description

• Define and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and success metrics for infrastructure and data platform capabilities supporting a government healthcare client • Own and prioritize the product backlog, balancing technical debt, platform reliability, security, performance, features, and stakeholder needs • Translate business and mission requirements into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria • Collaborate with business analysts, DevSecOps, cloud/infrastructure engineers, data engineers, and data scientists to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient solutions • Partner with business owners, program managers, and end users to gather feedback and ensure measurable value • Participate in and lead Agile ceremonies such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, and sprint reviews • Monitor product performance, reliability, and usage; use data and feedback for continuous improvement and prioritization • Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements for federal healthcare data and infrastructure • Develop and maintain roadmaps, release plans, feature descriptions, and stakeholder communications • Coordinate dependencies, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies • Champion platform and data governance best practices, including standardization, reusability, and observability • Support stakeholder training, rollout planning, and adoption tracking for new platform capabilities

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience • 4+ years of experience in technical product ownership/product management or relevant technical roles • Experience with infrastructure, cloud platforms such as AWS, or data pipelines and databases in a production environment with a public facing product • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and clear user stories • Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban • Experience with tooling such as Jira • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Desired: AWS services including Athena, Glue, EKS, HealthLake, and RDS • Desired: DevSecOps practices and tooling, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, automated testing, monitoring, and observability • Desired: Data engineering or data science workflows, including ETL/ELT, data warehousing, or analytics/ML platforms • Desired: Healthcare data standards, privacy regulations, and security requirements, including HIPAA, FISMA, and FedRAMP • Desired: Federal government client or highly regulated environment experience • Desired: CSPO or equivalent agile/product certification • Desired: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or other relevant cloud certifications • Desired: Security or governance certifications such as CISSP or CISM • Desired: Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, manage complex dependencies, and drive consensus
