📋 Description

• Support client engagements involving data privacy regulations, compliance assessments, gap analyses, and privacy program development • Advise organizations on privacy compliance requirements • Identify privacy and compliance risks • Recommend practical solutions • Participate in client discovery calls • Assess business needs • Support privacy compliance projects as they arise • Independently lead client discussions • Translate regulatory requirements into actionable recommendations • Develop privacy policies, procedures, and compliance documentation

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in privacy compliance, data protection, regulatory compliance, or related consulting • Strong working knowledge of CCPA/CPRA and U.S. privacy regulations • Experience conducting privacy assessments, gap analyses, and compliance readiness reviews • Ability to independently lead client discussions and translate regulatory requirements into actionable recommendations • Experience developing privacy policies, procedures, and compliance documentation • Strong communication, analytical, and client-facing consulting skills • Ability to work independently on short-term or project-based engagements • Privacy certifications such as CIPP/US, CIPM, or CIPT preferred • Experience with GDPR and other international privacy frameworks preferred • Familiarity with NIST Privacy Framework, NIST CSF, and ISO/IEC 27001 preferred • Experience supporting organizations preparing for CPRA-related cybersecurity audits or risk assessments preferred • Background in privacy consulting for commercial clients preferred • Experience working alongside cybersecurity, risk management, or compliance teams preferred • Availability for a short-term, part-time 1099 project • Ability to contribute quickly with limited ramp-up time
