📋 Description

• Serve as content lead for accreditation and chain of custody assurance focus areas • Lead document revisions and calibrations within assigned focus areas • Lead responses to stakeholder questions within assigned focus areas • Support Supply Chains and Claims & Labeling teams when Assurance input is required • Communicate with assurance providers via email, online community, and virtual meetings • Research and document issues in Textile Exchange standards and assurance policies • Answer technical questions about Textile Exchange standards and assurance policies • Manage and follow up on information requests from assurance providers • Maintain and publish supporting standards and assurance-policy documents • Support assurance-provider engagement initiatives and certification-system compliance • Provide administrative support for certification-body assurance processes • Maintain and improve assurance systems, including databases, document management, and case management • Provide guidance to stakeholders and support the Standards System Department • Support language interpretation/translation where required and skills allow • Represent Textile Exchange at events and meetings • Organize meetings and webinars with the assurance-provider community

🎯 Requirements

• Two to four years of experience in certification/standards or sustainability schemes • Knowledge of accreditation systems, including ISO 17065 and/or ISO 17011 • Knowledge of chain of custody certification and auditing • Strong English-language communication skills • Ability to synthesize and present complex information clearly • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively in English with non-native English speakers • Detail-oriented, logical, systematic, methodical, and highly organized • Demonstrated interest in Textile Exchange’s vision, mission, and goals • Ability to work in a flexible, fast-paced remote environment, meet deadlines, and share progress regularly • Comfort with ambiguity and changing direction • Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and ability to work remotely effectively • Strong team-player orientation • Able to work remotely/from home 100% of the time • Able to accommodate flexible working hours with minimum daily schedule overlap • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365, including strong Microsoft Excel skills • Flexible to communicate across multiple time zones outside standard working hours • Able to travel internationally occasionally • Preferred: additional language knowledge, especially Mandarin • Preferred: native-level English proficiency, particularly for technical writing • Preferred: one to two years of certification-body experience • Preferred: knowledge of recycling, animal fiber farming, or organic cotton standards • Preferred: college/university degree (B.A., B.S., or equivalent) • Preferred: experience with Textile Exchange, ISEAL, or ISO 17065-based standards
