📋 Description

• Perform full-cycle game localization and translation for a flagship mobile gaming account • Localize in-game UI, storylines, character dialogue, and marketing copy • Perform linguistic LQA • Polish narratives and adapt content cross-culturally • Participate in creative brainstorming with game teams • Work remotely during core business hours, 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday • Complete information verification, NDA signing, qualification sample testing, and onboarding • Provide gaming translation and localization experience details in the CV • Complete a short unpaid qualification assessment test and translation test

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on game localization experience • Native or near-native English speaker • Simplified Chinese to English (ZHCN → EN) translation expertise • Availability during core business hours • Ability to work 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday, 8 hours/day • Minimum one of: degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies with significant translation training; 2+ years of translation experience plus a college degree; 5+ years of translation experience without a degree; or a translation certification issued by an appropriate government body • Applicants must sign a confidentiality agreement • Applicants must complete a qualification assessment and translation test • Gaming translation/localization experience, including genres, titles or partial client names, and estimated word counts • Mobile game-playing experience recommended • Ability to complete a short unpaid qualification assessment test within the next few days
