📋 Description

• Lead the firm’s captive consulting practice as a people leader • Direct engagement delivery, colleague development, and practice growth • Lead, mentor, and develop Captive Consultants and Senior Captive Consultants • Oversee staffing, workload, quality, and professional development • Establish and maintain quality and methodology standards for feasibility studies and other captive deliverables • Serve as senior strategic advisor for the firm’s largest and most complex captive client relationships • Oversee feasibility studies, formation projects, and ongoing captive program reviews • Identify new business opportunities and lead proposals and RFP responses • Represent the practice in industry associations, events, thought leadership, speaking engagements, and marketing materials • Build and maintain relationships with captive domicile regulators, captive managers, actuaries, and other third-party providers • Partner with firm leadership on resourcing, budget, and strategic priorities • Monitor industry, regulatory, and tax developments affecting captive insurance and adjust practice strategy • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Deep expertise in captive structures, domiciles, feasibility analysis, and regulatory and tax considerations • Strong knowledge of alternative risk financing and the broader risk management landscape • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent client engagements while driving practice growth • Executive-level communication and presentation skills, including experience advising senior client and firm stakeholders • Demonstrated success in business development and in building client and industry relationships • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and relevant analytical and engagement management tools • Bachelor’s degree required • 5–7 years of relevant experience in captive consulting, risk management, or alternative risk financing, including experience leading teams • Relevant industry designations (e.g., ARM, CPCU, CCM, or similar) preferred • Travel may be required to client sites, captive domiciles, and industry events
