📋 Description

• Design, develop, and manage business intelligence solutions, including dashboards, reports, ad-hoc datasets, and visualizations. • Partner with Product, Actuarial & Advanced Analytics, Underwriting, and other insurance functions to collect, structure, and validate data from multiple sources. • Audit, compile, and reconcile data to ensure accuracy and integrity. • Communicate findings to business stakeholders and senior leaders, translating technical analysis into plain-language recommendations. • Automate manual reporting processes and build scalable, reusable solutions. • Apply AI tools such as Claude and Microsoft Copilot to dashboard development, pipeline automation, code generation and review, and report QA. • Apply critical thinking to ambiguous requests, evaluate trade-offs, and recommend appropriate approaches. • Conduct peer reviews and mentor less experienced analysts as the Power BI subject matter expert. • Support implementation of new practices, processes, and procedures.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. • 5–7 years of data analytics or related experience. • Advanced SQL, data modeling, and data visualization skills. • Recognized Power BI subject matter expertise; Tableau or other BI tools a plus. • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Notebooks, Pipelines, Dataflows, Power BI integration, and Python for Fabric Notebooks. • Strong understanding of database structures, relationships, and dependencies. • Strong critical thinking and proactive problem-solving abilities. • Strong written and verbal communication with business stakeholders and senior leaders. • Peer mentoring and peer review capabilities. • Intermediate insurance domain knowledge and understanding of MGA operations; insurance industry experience preferred. • Advanced hands-on AI fluency with tools such as Claude and Microsoft Copilot. • Ability to describe a specific problem solved or automated with AI. • Knowledge of AI prompting and workflow design, with judgment to validate AI output. • Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, charts, and graphing.
