📋 Description

• Work with key partners to understand business problems and define reporting/dashboard requirements • Scope Business Analytics needs, define reporting data structures, locate data sources, and identify data automation solutions • Collaborate with Data Engineering on advanced ETL • Develop, publish, and schedule advanced interactive Power BI reports and dashboards • Use Power BI to analyze trends and drive business action • Use SQL and DAX to solve complex business logic and reporting needs • Combine multiple Azure SDW data tables to create Power BI datasets and reports • Build advanced data analytics models using Power BI, SSAS, AAS, and data flows • Collaborate with the BI Team to design and implement efficient, accurate schemas • Provide technical guidance to junior and associate developers • Lead business analysis activities to gather reporting and dashboard requirements • Assist business users with functional and data requirements to enhance data models • Use Microsoft Power Platform to automate reporting and processes • Diagnose report issues and performance-tune reports and dashboards • Design, implement, and support a platform for ad-hoc access to large datasets • Answer complex business questions and reporting needs

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Computer Science, or Information Technology, or equivalent work experience preferred • Expert understanding of DAX and SQL • Python experience preferred • Ambition to learn new technologies and incorporate AI into analytics workflows • 6+ years developing Power BI reports, dashboards, indicators, and scorecards • 6+ years of development experience in data analytics technologies, including Microsoft Power BI • Experience with Microsoft Azure • Strong experience with SSRS/Paginated Reports • Ability to interpret data to inform business decisions • Ability to gather and understand requirements, including design and prototyping • Strong organizational skills • Ability to work in a team and independently with minimal guidance • Strong attention to detail • Self-motivated • Professional written and oral communication skills
