📋 Description

• Develop and integrate configurable dashboards, self-service reporting capabilities, and predictive analytics within the CMM application • Design intuitive, interactive dashboards and visualizations communicating business insights • Coordinate and implement data replication or feeds for downstream stakeholders and external systems • Monitor system performance to ensure analytical queries meet defined SLA response times and dashboard load-time targets • Drive user adoption of dashboards and reporting tools • Collaborate with product owners, data engineers, and UX designers to integrate analytics features into the CMM user experience • Translate business requirements and KPIs into technical designs and actionable insights • Build and enhance dashboards and reports in approved BI tools • Implement and validate SQL logic, calculations, and metric definitions • Coordinate with Data Engineering to resolve upstream data issues and curate reporting data • Apply visualization standards and documentation • Ensure reporting artifacts comply with privacy, access-control, and data-handling requirements • Establish and enforce data governance frameworks, standards, and best practices • Improve BI platforms through performance tuning, automation, metadata management, predictive analytics, and self-service BI • Support architecture design documents, governance artifacts, data lineage, and metadata catalog processes • Support and consume AI/ML solutions in compliance with government standards • Maintain an AI/ML Capability Register with status tracking, submission dates, and authorization history • Implement responsible AI/ML practices aligned with federal requirements

🎯 Requirements

• MA/MS degree with 5+ years of general experience in information systems and 5+ years of specialized experience, or BS/BA degree with 7+ years of general experience • Experience may be considered in lieu of degree • Expertise in Python, SQL, and data transformations supporting large-scale analytical data systems • Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or AWS QuickSight • Advanced SQL skills and experience with analytical data models and semantic layers • Experience delivering reporting in regulated or high-sensitivity data environments • Experience assisting with testing by writing acceptance criteria and confirming test-case results • Experience producing current requirements, sizing user stories, and removing roadblocks before sprints start • Excellent oral and written presentation and communication skills • Ability to work with high-level customer stakeholders and build customer relationships • Experience applying industry tools, solutions, methods, best practices, and emerging technologies • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to formulate and communicate recommendations for improvement • Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team • Preferred certifications include Tableau Certified Data Analyst, Tableau Desktop Specialist, Power BI Data Analyst, Certified Data Management Professional, Snowflake SnowPro Core, Databricks Certified Data Professional, AWS Certified Data Analytics - Specialty, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, and AWS Certified Data Engineer
