📋 Description

• Perform non-inherently governmental contract management support services using basic contracting methods and contract types • Perform administrative functions and closeout of contracts and delivery orders below and frequently above the simplified acquisition threshold • Complete the contract closeout process according to standard operating procedures and supervisor direction • Maintain 100% accountability of contract folders and documents throughout the closeout process • Reconcile contracts, invoices, and payment records • Check government databases for receiving documentation • Contact vendors for invoice payment information when necessary • Contact manufacturers or contractors to obtain written delivery history electronically or verbally • Prepare de-obligation modifications when required • Prepare DD1594 and DD1597 forms as necessary • Return contract folders to the supervisor for review and submission to the Contracting Officer • Prepare closeout documents for Contracting Officer review and approval • Scan documents as required • Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor • Work with procurement vehicles including competitive purchase orders, delivery orders, and indefinite quantity/indefinite delivery contracts covering services, construction, and commodities • No direct supervisory responsibility

🎯 Requirements

• Four-year degree or equivalent work experience • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations and federal contracting procedure • Completion of DAU acquisition class (CON 140) • CON 110: Mission-Support Planning (Recommended) • CON 111: Mission-Planning Execution (Recommended) • CON 112: Mission-Performance Assessment (Recommended) • Working knowledge of MS Office software • Lived experience with blindness or low vision is strongly valued • Experience using screen readers or other assisted technologies is encouraged • Commitment to the mission of providing opportunities for people who are blind, visually impaired, deaf-blind, multi-disabled and veterans • Ability to work as a non-government contract employee within the limitations applicable to non-government employees
