📋 Description

• Identify new investment themes and develop and maintain strategic theses to guide sourcing • Develop relationships across The Cigna Group to understand strategic priorities and initiatives • Own and improve data-driven processes for managing the deal pipeline • Qualify investment opportunities through initial contact, data gathering and assessment, and founder relationship development • Evaluate information from potential companies and internal and external experts • Lead key components of investment diligence, including market, financial, and valuation analysis • Draft investment memos and other materials • Engage portfolio companies • Support overall fund administration • Interact with internal business leaders and key stakeholders to drive strategic alignment and post-investment execution

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree • 3+ years of relevant experience in consulting, venture capital, and/or investment banking • Healthcare services background preferred • Self-starter able to operate in a fast-paced, complex environment • Superior research, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities • Ability to operate across multiple work streams and levels of leadership • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to quickly gather and synthesize information into clear, concise, and actionable messaging • Ability to build meaningful relationships with entrepreneurs, investors, and other stakeholders • Home internet connection through cable broadband or fiber optic service with at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload if working from home
