📋 Description

• Complete remote order entry, order verification, and drug verification • Provide patient counseling when needed • Navigate multiple pharmacy information systems • Provide drug information and therapeutic guidance to providers • Assess medication appropriateness, dosing, renal/hepatic adjustments, interactions, and compatibilities • Support specialized populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, pregnant/nursing patients, HIV patients, and patients with renal/hepatic impairment • Maintain knowledge of IV therapies, TPN, cardiac/narcotic drips, IV antibiotics, chemotherapy, and other treatments • Document interventions and clinical actions accurately and promptly • Communicate with physicians, nurses, and patients • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, pharmacy laws, and client policies • Participate in ongoing clinical, PIS, and policy-update training • Meet productivity and quality standards

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelors in Pharmacy required; PharmD preferred • At least 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience required • Active and in good standing pharmacist license in IL, IN, MO, IA and/or KS required • Must be willing to obtain other state licenses • Strong clinical knowledge and comfort working across multiple systems • Ability to work part-time hours, including evenings, overnights, and/or weekends • Cable broadband or fiber optic internet service with at least 10 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload for home work • Ability to work across VPNs, automation systems, and multiple pharmacy information systems • Proficiency with Google Suite/Microsoft Office and Snagit • Must maintain required licenses, credentials, and system access
