📋 Description

• Manage proposal development for less complex, custom bids from receipt of RFP through submission • Manage assigned proposal projects, including analysis, research, and writing/editing RFI/RFP responses • Negotiate RFP questionnaire requirements with appropriate cross-functional subject matter experts • Create proposal documents and exhibits supporting sales strategy and company product and service strengths • Facilitate requirements alignment with corporate positions and improve requirements compliance • Coordinate cross-functional communications, timelines, follow-up, and operational input for accurate and timely proposal production • Generate proposal and sales documents according to corporate standards, guidelines, templates, and styles • Coordinate production and shipping for accurate, on-time delivery • Resolve issues and conflicts with appropriate escalation • Serve as Proposal Management Subject Matter Expert for matrix partners • Develop market- and client-industry-specific responses as appropriate • Participate in continuous improvement, ad hoc projects, and process ownership • Provide training, coaching, and mentoring to new team members

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Pre-Law, English, Journalism or Communication or equivalent work experience • Master’s degree highly preferred • Project management experience • Previous proposal experience • Specialized knowledge of a primary business segment • Ability to concurrently manage multiple proposals with aggressive deadlines • Ability to work cross-functionally with subject matter experts and operational areas • Ability to analyze, research, write, and edit RFI/RFP questionnaire responses • Ability to negotiate RFP questionnaire requirements with cross-functional SMEs • Ability to develop proposal documents and sales exhibits • Ability to adhere to corporate marketing standards, department guidelines, templates, and styles • Sound critical thinking skills • Ability to resolve issues and conflicts with appropriate escalation • Ability to provide training, coaching, and mentoring • Qualified applicants must meet applicable work authorization and legal employment requirements
