• Lead, develop, coach, and manage one direct report, the Procurement Manager • Develop, implement, and refine organization-wide category strategies to optimize costs across software, consultants, marketing, facilities, and equipment vendors • Partner with the CFO and Finance team to analyze organizational spend and design systems to optimize expenditures • Develop, document, implement, enforce, and maintain procurement policies, intake workflows, spend thresholds, approval matrices, international compliance tracks, and related documentation • Oversee approximately 150 vendor relationships, including commercial negotiations, supplier segmentation, and preferred vendor programs • Oversee implementation and optimization of enterprise digital procurement tools, specifically Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) software • Educate U.S. and Mexico teams on procurement procedures and financial accountability • Monitor procurement accountability and compliance and partner with Legal and People teams • Establish and own reporting frameworks for the Executive Team and Senior Leadership Team covering pipeline velocity, renewal horizons, and financial impacts • Demonstrate fair, ethical, and equitable business practices • Handle sensitive and confidential matters and data with discretion and integrity • Foster an environment of inclusion and belonging and model Trevor’s values • Maintain knowledge of The Trevor Project’s programs, services, strategic goals, and LGBTQ+ community • Plan, solve problems, multitask, collaborate effectively, and maintain accuracy • Perform other relevant duties as assigned
• 8–10 years of experience in indirect procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management • Experience leading, developing, coaching, and managing procurement professionals • Track record managing $15M–$30M+ addressable spend and 150+ active vendor contracts • Track record delivering measurable cost savings, cost avoidance, and working capital optimization at scale • Expertise in complex contract literacy, including liability and indemnification terms • Ability to coordinate and collaborate with in-house legal and external counsel • Solid understanding of software licensing models • Proficiency with modern procurement tools and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) software systems • Proficiency with spend analytics platforms and enterprise reporting frameworks • Proficiency in SaaS vendor management and professional services procurement • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related quantitative field preferred; relevant equivalent years of experience required • Masterful presentation and interpersonal skills • Leadership presence and ability to advise senior leadership and influence behavioral change • Proficiency in spoken and written English; Spanish a plus • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; no employment visa sponsorship
