📋 Description

• Support Cigna Ventures, The Cigna Group’s strategic venture fund, across sourcing, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities • Engage portfolio companies and support overall fund administration • Interact with internal business leaders and key stakeholders to drive strategic alignment and post-investment execution • Identify new investment themes and develop or maintain strategic theses to guide sourcing • Develop relationships across The Cigna Group to understand strategic priorities and initiatives • Own and improve data-driven deal-pipeline management processes • Qualify opportunities through initial contact, data gathering and assessment, and relationship-building with founders • Evaluate information from potential companies and internal or external experts • Lead key portions of investment diligence, including market, financial, and valuation analysis • Draft polished investment memos and other materials

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree • 3+ years of relevant experience in consulting, venture capital, and/or investment banking • Background in healthcare services preferred • Self-starter able to operate successfully in a fast-paced, complex environment • Superior research, analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving capabilities • Ability to operate collaboratively across multiple work streams and levels of leadership • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to quickly gather and synthesize information into clear, concise, and actionable messaging • Ability to build meaningful relationships with entrepreneurs, investors, and other stakeholders • Home internet connection through cable broadband or fiber optic service with at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload if working at home
