📋 Description

• Lead the Legal organization's budgeting, forecasting, accrual, and annual financial planning processes • Develop and deliver financial reporting, dashboards, and analytics on legal spend and operational performance • Partner with Legal leadership and enterprise stakeholders on financial analysis and strategic decision-making • Monitor financial performance, identify trends, and support resource planning and allocation decisions • Establish and maintain financial governance processes for accurate, consistent, and transparent Legal financial data • Leverage Enterprise Legal Management and e-billing technologies for reporting, analytics, and operational decision-making • Drive continuous improvement to simplify, standardize, and enhance financial and operational processes • Support strategic Legal Operations initiatives and special projects

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Legal Operations, or a related field • 8+ years of experience in Legal Operations, legal finance, financial planning and analysis, business operations, financial operations, accounting, or a related discipline • Experience supporting a Legal department, law firm, Legal Operations organization, or legal spend management function strongly desired • Experience leading budgeting, forecasting, accrual management, financial reporting, variance analysis, and financial planning activities • Significant business operations or financial operations experience in a complex enterprise environment will also be considered • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills • Ability to influence stakeholders, drive decision-making, identify cost-saving opportunities, and translate complex data into actionable business insights • Experience working collaboratively across multiple functions and levels of leadership • Experience utilizing Enterprise Legal Management (ELM) and e-billing technologies, including TeamConnect, Collaborati, CounselLink, Legal Tracker, or similar platforms • MBA, CPA, CMA, or other relevant professional certification is a plus • For home-based work, cable broadband or fiber optic internet service with at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload is required
