📋 Description

• File notices of appearance and other documents consistent with local court rules • Assist with electronic filing of pleadings, motions, briefs, and related filings through CM/ECF • Serve as local counsel in accordance with applicable federal and local rules • Communicate with firm counsel regarding filing requirements and procedural matters • Assist the firm in representing clients and preparing appellate briefs in Social Security Disability appeals at the Federal District Court level, and possibly at the Circuit Court level

🎯 Requirements

• Admission to practice in one or more applicable federal district courts listed above • Attorneys admitted in Alabama (Northern District), California, Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia (Southern District), Idaho, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, Nevada, Ohio, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Virginia, Washington, D.C., or Washington State • Ability to maintain compliance with applicable local court rules and procedures • Familiarity with CM/ECF filing systems preferred • Strong professional communication and responsiveness • Superb writing skills • Resume and brief cover letter identifying state admissions and applicable federal district court admissions
