• Train on routine operation, maintenance, and theory of analytical instrumentation, SOPs, and regulatory guidelines • Perform routine sample preparation and analysis procedures to quantitatively measure pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical compounds • Progress to more complex techniques and analyze varied formulations and biological matrices • Complete laboratory documentation accurately according to SOPs and GLPs • Review and compile results and make initial acceptability determinations against SOP criteria • Troubleshoot extraction and instrumentation problems with assistance • Perform assignments accurately, timely, and safely • Manage QC responsibilities with minimal or no supervisor input • Communicate project status to the project leader • Build understanding of QA processes and manage responsibilities with decreasing supervisor or QA input • Remotely conduct quality control data review on data generated by the bioanalytical laboratory
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification • 0–1 year of comparable experience, or equivalent combination of education, training, and directly related experience • Knowledge of routine operation, maintenance, and theory of analytical instrumentation • Knowledge of SOPs and regulatory guidelines • Knowledge of applicable regulatory authority, compendia, and ICH guidelines • Excellent manual dexterity for precise and accurate work • Strong written and oral communication skills • Time management and project management skills • Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities • Ability to cross-train on sample preparation techniques • Ability to work collaboratively • Ability to communicate, receive, and understand information and ideas with diverse groups of people • Ability to work upright and stationary for typical working hours • Ability to use and learn standard office equipment and technology proficiently • Ability to perform under pressure while prioritizing and handling multiple projects or activities • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship • Must pass a comprehensive background check, including drug screening • Availability for Monday–Friday second shift, 2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m. EST
