📋 Description

• Carry out installation, preventative maintenance, repair support, and training of Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry products • Meet customer SLA and internal KPI objectives • Ensure customer satisfaction in all service activities • Share product service and application experience with colleagues • Contribute to the knowledge base to improve work efficiency and effectiveness • Assist the Commercial Team with technical information, training, and demonstrations • Accurately document field service activities, including installation reports and service work reports, and submit them timely through the required system • Travel up to 75% within the designated Maryland/DC territory

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in analytical chemistry, engineering, physics, or equivalent and 2+ years of hands-on technical experience installing, troubleshooting, and repairing LC/MS instruments, or an advanced degree with relevant experience • Strong electronics and mechanical troubleshooting skills, including component-level diagnosis • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and schematics • Experience with ultra-high vacuum systems and high-voltage equipment preferred • Experience documenting service activities and preparing detailed reports • Ability to train and support customers with equipment operation • Adherence to safety protocols and quality standards • Demonstrated success meeting customer satisfaction goals • Excellent written and verbal customer service and communication skills • Strong organizational and time-management capabilities • Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to work independently • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and service management software • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in various laboratory environments • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future • Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen • Relocation assistance is not provided
