📋 Description

• Serve as independent principal investigator (PI) for a large portfolio of retrospective, cross-sectional, and/or prospective studies. • Oversee proposals and all aspects of project delivery, completion, and quality. • Provide strategic consultation and recommend scientific methods to address research needs. • Delegate coordination tasks to mid-level and junior staff. • Support sales targets, client development, proposal development, and client engagement activities. • Contribute to strategic thinking around sales, process improvements, and product development. • Identify training needs, develop training materials, recommend training leads, and mentor junior staff. • Co-author abstracts and articles for scientific journals and scientific meetings. • Analyze complex issues and evidence, identify cause-effect relationships, and develop solutions. • Deliver presentations to internal teams and clients. • Build collaborative relationships to support successful project delivery. • Travel to scientific meetings/conferences and work flexibly across time zones as required.

🎯 Requirements

• Master's or PhD in Epidemiology or Public Health • Minimum of 7 years' experience, including experience as a consultant with a pharmacoepidemiology focus • Advanced understanding of epidemiology/pharmacoepidemiology, statistics, and practical research implementation • Experience executing retrospective, cross-sectional, and/or prospective observational research using secondary data sources and/or de novo data collection • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook • Strong written and verbal English communication skills • Ability to analyze complex issues and evidence, identify cause-effect relationships, and develop effective solutions • Ability to make sound decisions and implement solutions in a timely manner • Ability to deliver presentations to internal teams and clients • Ability to build collaborative working relationships with colleagues and clients • Willingness to mentor and support junior team members • Flexibility to work across time zones • Ability to travel to scientific meetings/conferences as required • Equivalency of appropriate education, training, and/or directly related experience may be considered sufficient to meet role requirements
