📋 Description

• Conduct onsite calls for prospect, new quote and existing accounts • Provide risk assessments and service to accounts • Conduct physical surveys • Investigate risk exposures and accidents • Analyze risk experience • Develop service plans and provide recommendations • Consult with underwriters to determine account and risk acceptability • Provide verbal and written correspondence to underwriting • Work with agents to foster and develop relationships and secure new business • Effectively manage a service territory • Work with customers to ensure safety planning is in place • Conduct training presentations to business clients, large groups or associations • Conduct training presentations in person and occasionally on weekends

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in safety, loss control or related field • Demonstrated independence servicing large/complex accounts of various classes of business with little guidance • Ability to successfully address and reduce loss drivers • Willingness to coach and mentor co-workers • Willingness to take on advanced projects • Ability to engage with internal and external peers to solve problems • Willingness to attend professional development conferences and/or participate in professional associations • Previous experience working for/with a multi-line insurance carrier • Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint • Proven interpersonal, presentation, marketing, oral and written communication skills • Problem solving, critical thinking, active listening, negotiation and decision-making skills • Valid driver’s license required • Bachelor’s degree in Loss Control, Risk Management, Safety, Insurance or related field (preferred) • Designation in safety, health or insurance, such as CSP, ASP, ARM, CRM, CIC or CPCU (preferred)
