📋 Description

• Provide licensed financial and non-financial support to the sponsoring financial advisor • Serve as a resource to Thrivent Financial for Lutherans financial advisors • Support securities, investment advisory, insurance, health, and annuity products and services according to licensure • Help develop and implement business and marketing plans to acquire, cultivate, and retain members • Conduct prospecting and marketing, case and proposal preparation, referral generation, and community-building activities • Handle sensitive member/customer communications and respond verbally and in writing • Facilitate or co-present product-specific seminars and workshops • Identify fund-selection criteria and track performance against indexes for WRAP accounts • Participate in practice business planning • Counsel prospective and current members/customers on suitable financial products and investment advisory services • Open and complete product applications • Conduct research and information gathering for securities recommendations and investment advice • Obtain financial and suitability information • Accept and enter securities trade orders, including unsolicited orders • Explain, discuss, or interpret insurance coverage and analyze exposures or policies • Issue insurance certificates, endorsements, binders, commitments, or contracts • Assist with member/customer meeting preparation and follow-up • Collaborate on product changes • Drive marketing services including direct mail, fraternal activities, seminars, and meetings • Perform additional responsibilities according to licensure and business needs

🎯 Requirements

• Securities registered (Series 7 & 66 or Series 6 & 63), or willing to complete registration within 120 days of hire/contract • Appropriately insurance licensed/appointed for sale of all life, health, and variable products • Must be securities registered/insurance licensed/appointed in all states where support work is performed • Must be willing to complete appropriate state training to sell Long Term Care products if required • Demonstrated customer service orientation/experience; 2+ years preferred • Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain high-quality work amid frequent interruptions • Ability to maintain integrity of sensitive/confidential information • Basic understanding of the sponsoring financial advisor's products and services and Thrivent Financial • Previous administrative/secretarial experience desired • Ability to work with all roles of the sponsoring financial advisor • Ability to represent the organization with external clients • Ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with outside organizations • Background verification required • Fingerprints required for FINRA registration and FBI review
